UX Linked Data Challenge November 3, 2016

The world of Linked Data is very active with publishing and connecting data. But how do you make the use of linked data really attractive? Thursday, November 3, Platform Linked Data Netherlands (PLDN) organizes in collaboration with the University of Twente - Faculty of Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation (ITC) and CGI a UX Linked Data Challenge in Rotterdam.

Are you a UX, interaction designer or linked data expert? And can you show the world how intelligent usage of linked data can lead to useful applications for a wide range of users? Then we invite you to join us Thursday, November 3rd.

What can we offer you?

On 3 November we will use a number of visualization and developer tools to build prototypes for the defined challenges. You get the opportunity to learn to understand the power and flexibility of Linked Data and to work with new innovative tools under the guidance of a Linked Data expert. And you can do this in the stimulating envionment of the CGI Spark Innovation Center.

The most promising prototypes (up to three) from the challenge receive a contribution from Platform Linked Data Netherlands to develop their prototype further. On December 2 they will present their results at the next PLatform Linked Data Netherlands meeting at Waternet in Amsterdam. Through the communication and publication channels of the platform we bring the winners to the attention of a wider audience.
