Intro[bewerken]

Thursday November 13, Platform Linked Data Netherlands (PLDN), in collaboration with the HAN University of Applied Sciences, is organizing an exclusive event at NXP in Nijmegen. During this event, we will focus on the application of Linked Data in Data Spaces for Smart Industry, and in particular the application of digital product passports for batteries. You can expect an inspiring afternoon full of relevant use cases, interactive work sessions and plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with other frontrunners in the manufacturing industry and data tech.

The event takes place at NXP, which was part of the leading group of first Linked Data users in the Netherlands from 15 years ago onwards. They have now made great strides in this regard, and of course this is reflected in the program. In addition, other Linked Data cases in the Smart Industry are also discussed. The HAN (University of Applied Sciences) will discuss the research projects DEMAND and STAMP. With STAMP, we are working on a Linked Data solution for Digital Product Passports (DPP). These DPPs, partly due to mandatory legislation, are an important development for the industry, and the program therefore pays ample attention to DPP use cases and possibilities.
